Just a little update

Well summer's come and gone and so have fall registration at all of our friendly dance studios so we figured it was time for another update.

1) We sent our brand new DVD demo out to hundreds of dance studios a couple of weeks ago. If we missed your studio and you'd like a demo please let us know and we'll gladly send one your way. We've doubled in size again for 2007 and would love to service your dance studios.

2) Video Judge has been a huge success and has grown from one dance competition in 2006 to nine different competitions with over forty dates in 2007. For an up to date list please check out the Video Judge website!

3) Not only have we added a 2-week guaranteed delivery for our recital DVDs but all DVDs will be delivered in a full-sized DVD cases too! Talk about progress!!!

We've moved!

Big news - we've moved to our brand new editing facilities in Concord. We needed the space in order to handle the volume of work we are doing at recitals and competitions. For those of you who wonder where Concord is...it's about 10 minutes north of Toronto.

Phew!

Phew! Well June went by fast didn't it?!?! July is here and we can't believe how crazy June was. This dance season DRC Video Productions shot 113 recitals for 44 different studios and 53 competition dates for 5 different competitions! But wait! That's not the most exiting part. The most exciting thing is that we've figured out how to deliver recital DVDs two weeks after the recital! That's right - the same high quality service but delivered in two weeks flat! Now that doesn't mean everyone will get them in two weeks this year - some will still have to wait until the end of August for the rest of 2006 - but in 2007 all DVDs will be shipped within 2 weeks of the last recital. How's that for speedy delivery!?!?

Glitch Resolved

Some of you have complained to us that you were unable to order DVDs through our online store. Yesterday, with the help of one frustrated customer we walked through the steps together and discovered that her email address was being rejected.

Why? It turns out that this store was built to reject Hotmail and Gmail addresses. Who knew?

So we've made the change and now any email address will work - as long as it can be verified as a valid address.

We apologize for any frustration this may have caused and hope that you will all now be able to enjoy the convenience of our online store.

Dance Odyssey, Video Judge, Dance FX, Recitals, Oh My!

Ouch. Long time no speak. Can you tell things have been crazy?!? Since we last spoke we've been through four Bedazzled Dance Champions competitions and three Dance Odyssey Competitions and this weekend we are also at Dance FX in Niagara Falls! But that's not all - we've also started with our recitals too! Can you believe it? Mid-May and we are already into recitals!

Meanwhile, we've introduced Video Judge at the Dance Odyssey events and the response has been incredible! Just imagine - all of your studio's dances along with all the adjudicators' comments on one DVD! Say goodbye to cassettes and CDs...this is the future of competition adjudication and we are at the forefront.

Bedazzled Dance Champions 2006

We are so happy to be back at Bedazzled Dance Champions for our fourth consecutive year. This year we are providing live action photos as well as videos at the competition. In celebration of Bedazzled's 5th anniversary they are providing every contestant* with a free Studio Collection (including all the solos, duets, trios and groups entered). Pretty cool, eh? Make sure you thank Tracy and Mark and look for your DVD at your studio within 4-8 weeks!

The Competitions Continue...

After two more fantastic events in the United States we are back on home turf for the DMA Chapter #43 (aka The Maple Leaf Dance Masters of America) competition in Brantford this weekend. And what a crazy turn out - over 750 entries! Four days of not stop fun. We're offering our standard DVD service this weekend as well as an enhanced live action photo service where parents can bring home photographs of their child dancing on stage. Some of the images we are getting are just brilliant with dancers soaring through the air - you'd almost believe that they were spending too much time with Peter Pan and Tinkerbell's magic pixie dust!
